Update, I had a chance to re-visit H.M.M.S. this morning to have them check out the balance on the Potenza SO3's tires which are mounted on my Std. Aero 17" rims.
Sure enough the balance was the problem. It ends up that one of the weights fell off the left front wheel in the garage as the car was being driven out of the garage. And, on the other wheel, he had to add a weight on the inside of the wheel and remove a weight from the outside rim area - odd! Tom the owner, mentioned that he noticed a weight on the floor after I had driven away. Hmmmmmmm..... that made me think thanks for calling me to say their might be a problem!! Evidently, if you don't use the Saab specific tab weights their is a chance they will pop off.
Tom re-balanced the front tires and let me tell you, what an improvement. No vibration and Yes, these tires are like magnets.
The wheel and tire combination has absolutely changed the stock ride of my 2001 9-5 SE V6 Sedan. I highly recommend purchasing a set of 17" rims and the Potenza SO3 225/45/17 ZR tires.
Enjoy the ride,
Kevin
