Quick history: car is 01 9-5 Linear, bought 5 wks ago from the local Saab dealership. I test drove with the dealership owner, WE noted this "strange" little thing, he acknowledged and promised to fix. Not knowing what caused it, he ordered to replace the engine mount. Obviously... not a fix.

Took the car in yesterday, sat the tech guy in the car, went for a "demo ride", he first denied anything "abnormal" & even dared to suggest it is normal to Saab (same old same old sh*t). Long story short: he eventually felt it & agreed with me.

In the end, they went into the steering column, and lub it, especially in the "mid section (he told me a name but not "english" enough for me to remember). he said they have NEVER addressed & fixed this complaint before .. "new" to them.. yeah, right... they were just luck to be able to send those customers home ;-) "normal" my a....

Took the car back today .. wha la .... no more "tick" when accelerating thru a turn. Dunno how long it will last, but at least I'll know what to tell them to perform next time.

No idea how much it will cost, am lucky that it is still under warranty.
