Patience and a good lower back. I pinched the hose from the reservoir tank so no extra fluid ran out but still lost a few quarts from the head draining. You'll need to cut the black zip tie that holds the valve to the wiring harness but everything else should be straight-forward. Make sure the pliers you use on the spring clamps have good grips since the coolant will make things a little slippery.
