The Saab electronics - SID, ACC, basically anything that lights up... they look very old and outdated. Everything also feels cheaper, more plastic-y, more breakable. I've also always found Saab leather to feel parched and hard (like it's about to split or crack), while Audis' leather feels more lush and supple and healthy and resilient.

The Audi has a very polished and engineered interior. It's not complicated-looking like the Saab interior is (even though we Saab owners know how uncomplicated it is once you know what everything does). All the displays and controls are bright and readable, modern, and extremely pleasing to the touch. The ACC moves in 1-degree increments, which I like.

And I prefer the firmer, tighter cushions and upholstery of the Audis.

Having said that, the Audi equivelent of the SID is pretty useless. Lots of unnecessary functions and not enough useful ones. The Saab interior is more centered around the driver and everything is easy to access without having to take your eyes off the road.

Both are "drivers" interiors, it just depends on what kind of driver you are, I guess. Overall I prefer the aesthetics of the Audi interior, and the functionality of the 9-5's.
