One well worn Master card and for about 25 bucks you can have it done in about thirty minutes, or a fracton of the time it will take you to do the job the way Steven described it above ( very correctly) I can understand doing oil if you are also doing other work yourself, but if it is just for the thrill of having hot oil spill on your hands or the joy of having to make that second trip back to the store to get rid of the old stuff, are you really buying yourself anything? My independent Saab tech changes oil and filter, using all Saab supplied oil and filters, checks and tops off power steering fluid, coolant, windshield washer fluid, inspects brake pads, sets tire pressures, cleans battery terminals if needed and tops off battery as well( also, if needed) and for all this he charges the sum of $27 bucks cash American. How can you possibly beat that compared to doing it yourself?
