Saabs are in canada at the 57th position for stealed cars. (who's under that I wonder...)

I dont think it's because of it's fancy anti theft system.

There are many reasons I assume. First, there is no clientele for such cars, they are cheap on the market and hard to sell, especially if it has no records or history and repair maintenance bills... Also, since it is a rare car, there is less greater demand for parts. But parts, generally are ridiculously expensive, could be leading to a black market but maybe it's not popular because Saab owners dont go to trashy junck yards, where they cannibalize stolen cars and sell parts cash with no bills...

Finally, I guess they would not even know where is the ignition slut, since Valets in the city often dont know eather.

Still not letting CD and coins or phones in the car at night should be a great help to stay undisturbed.
