I have the same problem with the MyFi XM that I have in my 9-5.
I was wondering if anyone has compared the MyFi to the SkyFi2. The MyFi was more $ but it came with all adapters and also can be used as a portable. Although near me reception is spotty with the internal antenna.
I like using the FM modulator better but the closer I get to NY City the worse it works because there are not any open frequencies. With the cassette adaptor there are alot of wires running around (antenna and power plus the adaptor. My I-pod works on 87.9 but the XM does not broadcast on that frequency
