....because that *might* be a typical DEALER price for a PERFECT convertible of that vintage.
Check edmunds.com for more information.
Assuming purchasing a hatchback or sedan from a private party, without knowing anything about where you are, market, etc., I'd go with Edmunds' estimate of ~3400 if it's perfect. Clearly, it's not. Who told you it needs a rear crank seal? Note for starters that the rear seal and oil pump o-ring are two separate jobs on a C900. Front seal and o-ring is more likely what it really needs, which is a single job. Headliner and tires a couple hundred bucks apiece. I can't comment on cruise.
Auto or manual? If manual, how's the clutch? If auto, at 93k I wouldn't trust it to make it down the block.
Head gasket I understand is pretty typical on the 2.1L engine...be glad it's over with, but make sure it was done right. Dent in the rear is your call...how bad does it cramp your style? All records a nice plus, depending of course upon who the records indicate did the work.
Given the above, if manual with good clutch and tranny, I'd probably offer the guy $2500, but not until I had it to a reputable indy saab guy for a thorough look.
Check out what people were asking on the sold TSN classifieds for similar vehicles.
