Timely message; I just replaced by old, cracked dash with a new, pristine replacement one in my '86 900t, so I have recent and intimate knowledge of the air recirc switch with the six vacuum lines going into it you speak of.

When separating the gang vacuum hose plug from the back of the switch, they were all nicely plugged into back of gang plug that was held on by a copper snap. The gang plug only snaps back the correct way, and I didn't have any hoses come off the plug. My suggestion is to find two stray vacuum hoses and test each one's function till you get it right-it's only two so, so you don't have many permutations.

I'm surprised you don't have idle problems caused by the two missing vacuum hoses-do you? Good luck. Let us know how you make out.
