Well, I just got the car back from Sears and its the CAMBER thats out, although they said its Caster on the phone. The computer read out shows driver side camber at +.9 degrees, and the guy admits that they don't have the shims to adjust it (guess Sears doesn't have everything after all!). Rear camber on same side is also out slightly. Tires wore evenly prior to new ball joints and tie rods so I assume its the old alignment settings that are now causing the problem.
They did, however, adjust the toe so that the steering wheel is no longer centered.
ARRRG........but at least no $$$$.
