OK, I went carefully through my Bentley and the only detailed instructions cover what 'should' happen with the air-distribution switch in each position. When my switch is at the large <=> position absolutely nothing happens, no fan, no vacuum sounds, nothing, all other switch positions work as designed. The wiring diagram has the switch illustration and it has 2 spade terminals!! Right now I can't see/feel if wires are attached to both. Does the 'Re-circ' button need to be depressed to have the <=> feature?? Previous owner had an aftermarket radio installed so I think the non-working <=> is related to sloppy work since everything else works. Nathan if you can look in your Bentley and point me to what you describe as the description of this 'phenomenon' I would really appreciate it as it may save me from removing the bolster unnecessarily! I would need to do that to get a better view of the back of the switch than I can get via the left speaker hole or with the radio removed (no view with former, limited view with latter).
