Here is what I did. I bought the InterDynamics Kit with includes
new fittings, a 8.5 oz oil charge and the filling hose. I all
bought a can of 12 oz r134a with leak stop and filled the system
with that. Lastly, I topped the system off with a half a can of
12 oz r134a. Let the system sit for a few hours and it should
work fine. The directions state that you should have your system
evacuated, but since mine was dry (had it checked by a Saab Mechanic,
and he said that he used this kit), I had to jump the drier. Not
hard.
