Ah - you gotta love Saturdays - time to work on your Saab !! I was just about to go outside and clean the interior of my car. But before I did that, I wanted to check the Saab bulletin boards and noticed your current problem.

So let's get down to business. Yes, take the flywheel (i.e. clutch cover) cover off. I believe there are a total of about 5 or 6 bolts (either 12mm or 13mm bolts). At the very bottom of the cover, there is a bolt that screws in towards the right wheel (one side) and another screw that screws in towards the left wheel (the other side). A little further up, there are two more screws (one on each side) that screw in towards on the firewall - remove them as well. Then, there is a one or two screws at the top that screw towards the firewall as well. Remove them too. At this point you should have all the screws removed. Now remove the cover. It does take a bit of effort to get the cover out because it is a tight fit. Once the cover is off, get a 10 mm wrench and remove the three 10 mm bolts (I am assuming these are still factory here and therefore are the 10mm size) that hold the slave cylinder in place (two bolts on top and one on the bottom). Gentle move the slave cylinder towards the flywheel so that you can put an open end wrench (11 mm I believe) on the end for the hydrualic line and get her off.

Obviously, once you have you new hydrualic line on, just reverse the above steps by tightening the slave cylinder down again and putting the flywheel cover back on - which will be a bit of a struggle. Just be patient, you'll there.

Hope this post helped and good luck.

P.S. forgot to post my name the first time so I thought I better repost just in case the webmaster decided to delete all "no name" posts.
