What to do with my Saab?

Last weekend, I drove my '89 Saab 900S up from N. Va to outside Philadelphia. As soon as I arrived, the car would no longer accelerate and had to be towed to a dealer. They have told me I need a new fuel pump which will cost about $700. The car has had many repairs in the past few months and I have spent about $1500 on them. I do not want to pay another $700 because I feel the car is getting too expensive to maintain. The car is in good shape bodywise and has $110,000 miles on it, but I cannot afford to keep putting money into it. My problem is that I don't know what to do with the car. It is dead in Philadelphia. I could have it towed to VA for about $350, but then what would I do with it? Or someone who works at the dealer has offered to buy it for $500 as is. Or I could donate it to Salvation Army for a tax deduction. Does anyone have any other recommendations? I need to try to decide by the end of this weekend so it does not continue to sit at the dealer. Thanks!
