on my previous '84 900S. The driver's side window got stuck down. It turned out that where wires from car enter door through little rubber bellows, the wires had chafed through insulation and shorted out against metal car body. Fixed it w/some electrical tape in a pinch.
Your prob. might be this, or that window motor has died. Check the wires' insulation before you go ordering a new motor ($$$).
