Dennis - I had checked previous posts on the subject and I had seen yours on the problem you had with your worn brushes. I was optimistic that I might be able to take care of my problem the same way. I took the cap off the motor last weekend. The brushes were worn but looked like they had life left in them. There was some minor corrosion in the motor and some pitted contacts that I filed. I also cleaned and resoldered where the lead wire connects to the terminal in the mptor. I thought it might be a cold solder joint not allowing full power to the motor. None of these procedures helped. I may still try replacing the brushes with brand new ones. I will also try bleeding the hydraulic system. Although my hydraulic cylinders do not leak; is it possible that the internal piston seals are not holding pressure? I am not sure how the cylinders are designed.
