I just got a Tow hitch for my saab this past week, and before I can put it to use I have to fix my Overheating problem. It seems a little slow warming up on the morning drive, Id say a good 5 minutes to move away from the cold line. And in traffic, Alot of it here with construction lately, It gets in the 3/4 zone. What is the normal operating temp, Im use to seeing the guage just below midway. It has coolant, the fans come on, but not untill 3/4 way. What are some on the things to do and look for so The temp will not go over 1/2 way during any style of driving? I dont want to harm any thing. How do you know when its time to change a water pump, and what kinda job is that. (how many hrs to do the change). I havent seen any radiator fluid leaking. But sometimes there is a drip or two near the front Passengers side. But its an occasional sighting.
Any response is great, Craig
