Each one has a bolt (or 2) which locks it all into place, plus a "long, sideways" tensioner bolt which is used to adjust tension while the other bolt(s) are loosened up a bit. Loosen the mounting bolt(s), tighten the "tensioner" bolt a bit, then re-tighten the mounting bolt(s). Each of these are right-hand threads, so they tighten clockwise.
AC: The idler pulley is on a bracket, held with 2 bolts. The lower one acts as a pivot, the upper one slides, both have to be loosened a bit. The tensioner is the long bolt near the top of the whole mess, along the edge of the valve cover. It pulls against the upper mounting bolt & makes the idler bracket pivot.
PS pump: The whole pump pivots about its lower mount. The tensioner bolt is low on the RH side, near the engine mount. The tensioner bolt pulls against the upper mounting bolt.
Alternator/waterpump: The alternator pivots on its lower mount. The tension bolt is along the top of the alternator, sort of pointing towards the coolant reservoir.
Warning:
Don't over-tighten the belts. The tensioner bolts will be able to make the belts way too tight, & then your waterpump bearings won't last long. Don't judge anything by how tight the tensioner bolts are; judge by how tight the belts are when youre done.
Cheers, Jim
