Hi,
I have a 1991 900 and I need to get new tires (185/65-15). I did some comparing on the Tirerack.com and for that size, the Bridgestone Potenza RE950 with UNI-T AQII got really high marks. Does anyone have experience with these tires? How objective are the reviews on that site? They didn't review any of the Nokian models, which I've seen people recommend on Saabnet before.
Most of my driving is highway. I live in New York, but it rarely seems to snow now, and when it does I'd just assume not drive. I wouldn't pay more money for "performance" tires, whatever that means. Just looking for good, all season tires that won't cost me more than $200ish. The bulk of my driving is highway (and soon after I replace my tires I'm taking a cross-country trip in June, so that's about 6,000 mi. of highway all at once).
Right now I have what the previous owner bought- Michellin "Roadhandlers." I've been told these are "mediocre," but I have nothing to compare them to. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks.
