SaabTech told me to fill the reservior to the top (when the top was down) before putting the plug back in, and that did the trick for me. There was just enough air in my system that, when I turned the motor on to put the top up, the reservior level drew down about 3/4 of an inch, taking it below the proper fill level markings, and allowing the pump to suck in air. With the seat out, watch the level of the reservior as you cycle te motor. Definitely check the manual bypass valve closed, first.
