My 90 900TC w/200,000mi hit a deer and the damage is estimated at between $3700-4500. Insurance came up with a value of $5125. I have a $1000 deductible. So I can either take my $4000 and run and get another car or spend another $800-1000 to buy it back and fix it. Which would give me around $3000 to work with for repair. I am trying to weigh the options and see how I would come out best. I am in graduate school and am buying a home and don't have a much extra money to put into the car.

I want a similar vintage or newer (90-93) 900. I would like a 3 door S or Turbo. In looking at 900 classifieds on TSN, there is not much in that age range. I also don't really want something with a ton of miles. Again, I have about $4000 to work with, and would like to stick with a 900. If you know of any good cars that I don't know about, tell me and I'll check em out.

I love my 900TC and besides the deer damage, it's in very nice condition. But, I also need to be practical about this and not be throwing too much money away. Being the experts and as wise as you are, what should I do?
