Low clutch: no leaks, but air is getting past seals?

My clutch gets low every once in a while, disengaging near the floor. I looked for leaks at the master and slave cylinders and at the pedal and found nothing. Also, there is no loss of brake fluid.
So I figure air is getting past the seals on the master. Can someone 'splain me what is involved in the rebuild process and how difficult a job it is?
TIA
TM
