I hate to "me too" but I am also having hiccup problems. It's a 89 900 turbo. Cap, Rotor, wires plugs all good. Hot wired to coil just in case of intermittent ignition. No luck. Cleaned throttle position indicator connector and rpm take off connector on distributor, cleaning the connections seems to help but it is an intermittent problem so I am not sure. It does still hiccup some but not as much. I do not want to toast my APC CPU so I am not sure what the heck to do. I am a computer tech but I can not find good documentation on how the bosh k-tronic system works or wire colors or a good schematic (yes I have read the faq here and it helped) I believe it is a problem with one of the sensors that provides input to the APC because when it hiccups the tach drops to zero and, so far as I can tell, the tach displayed is output from the APC. I am open to suggestions if anybody has any otherwise I will be dragging my oscilloscope up to the garage and trying to troubleshoot it that way but I really don't want to do it that way. I love my Saab but I wish I could find better documentation on it.
