I know that this is an older topic, but my '85 N/A 8 valve started doing this same exact thing this morning. The tach is steady during the hiccups. Has this been narrowed down to something in particular? I might end up taking this to an a Saab machanic tomorrow and get it fixed ASAP... it's my everyday car. Only other car I can drive is my '64 Studebaker. :(
But any ideas before I throw down the cash would be great. Thanks!
