I would stick with the c900 unless you plan on getting a '98 or newer NG900/9-3. The first generation NG900s had a number of issues that I don't think I'd like to get involved in. Plus, they seem to be devaluing even faster than c900s. If you're limited to '94-'96 cars, stay away from the NA 2.3l cars as they seem to be more prone to timing chain problems than the 2.0ls. Also, avoid the V6 as its prone to head problems and requires 30,000 mile timing belt changes. Also, consider just getting a 9000 - they are just as fun to drive, generally more reliable, and I daresay superior in many ways.
