You'll need JVC headunit (I've owned two) removal keys, two metal tabs with notches to disengage the headunit from the mounting sleeve. Once free of the sleeve you'll probably need to remove the sleeve.
Now if you don't have these keys any car installation business should be able to help you out.
BUT ...
before trying any of this make sure that your switches have replaceable bulbs. (Anyone know if they're hardwired or not??) If they each have hardwired lights which would mean the replacement of each switch. To make matters worse the air distribution switch and heater control knob supposedly require the removal of the dash (they screw in from behind the panel).
Are you sure you can't just find those switches in the dark? =)
Best of luck!
