First, using some complex math formulas, you'd have to find the most suitable A/R ratio that would fit you car's specs.. The A/R is marked on the turbine housing assembly and must be the right one. Second, the camshaft. Valve opening, closing, duration etc is one of the most important considerations when adding a turbo and proper camshaft selection can also offset any static compression ratio if it's "too high". There are lot's more considerations to consider and if you decide to do it, you will be richly rewarded with the knowledge gained. Find some books, (even some engineering books on exhaust systems) to aid you.
