Saab radios (every one I have seen) all slide out when you use the two small tools provided with the new radio, or come with the car when new. They are two, flat pieces of metal, about 3 1/2 inches long, you slide one in the outer edge of the radio on one side, and the other you slide into the outer edge of the radio on the opposite side, when you get these all the way in, you gently pull them...and the radio should slide right out nice and easy, if you dont have these little tools, Im sure you could get some at an audio store for very little $$ or maybe a saab dealer. Nothing to it really. I hope my descrition makes sense!
Brian: You can get dashboard "covers" from Swedish Auto Specialties for about $80.00...makes your dash look brand new again.
