just last week i couldn't figure out why my car would come up to the point where the fans kicked on, then the temp would slowly continue rising, but never come down. the fans would continue to run until i parked and shut the car off. then they would run for the lotted time.
new radiator, new t-stat, new water pump, bled system, etc...
finally figured out that when i lst unplugged the fan to remove it, the two leads popped out of the connector. when i placed them back together, yup, backwards. the driver's side fan had been running in reverse. so i was pulling hot air into the engine bay with the pass fan, and then blowing that air back across the rad and fmic, along with hot air from the engine bay. no wonder...
so check to see if your wires match up on either side of each connector (black to black, green to green, etc.)
