Budget into this a Bentley 8-valve manual, unless you already have an 8-valve one. +/- $40?
Brakes: Yes, Emergency brake is same as '85. If cable is unhooked, most likely it needs the caliper(s) replaced because the parking brake was sticking/stuck. Could need cable(s0, also after that.
Axles: CV boot replacement is +/- same as '89.
Heat: Old valves quit working in the same manner as the newer ones - usually wouldn't stop heat, leaked coolant, and so on. You might be lucky enuf to find that the rod between the valve and the knob has fallen off, but don't count on it!
My $ .02 worth: Car needs front brake caliper(s), sunroof motor, interior, CV joint boots, and heater work - This is more like a $500 car, than a $2,000 car.
I think I have the other half of that car! Terrible body & paint, engine management system missing, but all the SPG-type stuff attached to it (panels/wheels/and other stuff).
