I currently have my expansion tank, alternator, oil filter housing, and driver's motor mount out of the car, and there is not enough room to pull the control arm out. I am changing the motor mount and the control arm bushings, but I attempted to remove the arm just to make getting the bushings off easier. I removed the spring mount from the control arm, and there just isn't enough room between the block and the fender wall to wiggle it out. I also have my driver's side inner driver out, and it seems if I was able to jack the motor about 4 or 5 inches I "might" gain enough clearance. Not worth it to me, I just changed the bushings in place.
