Shifter wants to pop out when acclerating!!! all gears!

88 900T has (or used to now)great tranny..was very smooth and shifter didnt vibrate or move an inch..now today something wacky has happened..everytime i go to accelerate, the shifter in 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th jumps a little, depending on how hard im accelerating..when in 1st in wants to jump out into netural and same with 3rd (but never does pop out)...when in 2nd and 4th it skips toawrd the gear how u shift(am i making sense?)..basically when u acclerate in a gear the shifter is jumping towards the rear of the car, depending on how hard and fast ur going.it feels a little different shifting from 1st to 2nd now too.the car also when accelerating in those gears vibrates at higher RPMs and it seems as if there is not as much power!! please tell me im not looking at tranny damage...im hoping its motor mounts but im not an expert..please tell me what u think...thanx
