Help with paint decision - Northern VA

I have an 87 Saab CVT which is in decent shape. I am looking to have it painted, however I don't want to spend several thousand dollars. The car doesnt need any body work. Just prep and paint. I am thinking about going to one of the two local Macco shops in my area. I already got a quote from one and it was around $500. I have gotten quotes from 4-5 other body shops in the area and they were all around 2500 to 4500. I have heard both good and bad things about Macco in general. I looked at a couple of the cars in thier lot , which were painted by them and they looked pretty good. I am begining to think that not all Macco's do bad paint work. Does anyone have any feed back on the Macco's in Northern VA (Fairfax or Chantilly shops).
