Well yes, I know a new bag of rocks isnt going to help me. Any early 90's car I get is going to have me posting on a forum like this, for a saab, benz, or bimmer. This is something I realize. There is slightly more to me wanting to sell my car though....for one, the 5speed isnt so hot. It makes lots of noise, forced me to learn to double double-clutch(which is great, actually) and has tons of free-play/slop. If im not super gentle transitoning from acceleration to trailing throttle, the car throws a fit. My biggest problem is that at the begining of the year I got in a fender bender and only had liability insurance. The passneger side fender is messed up and costs half the value of the car to fix. Im a huge car nut/fanatic and its killing me that its like that. I paid 3000 for my car...and I cant justify spending 1500 dollars on body work. I would sooner sell my car for 1500 and put my 1500 dollars into getting another car. Plus maybe more money, at my discresion (depending on what I think I want to replace it with)
FYI, my car was not made in trollhatten, its from Malmö. :-)
