I'm planning on mine going another 15 years since I have replaced a lot of stuff. What other car can you have 200K on and not need to replace stuff? Certain years were better than others but I'm very happy with my '88900TC. I don't have much else to replace on it so I'll be good for about 20 years if they keep selling gas. Yes, I has had a hairline crack on one of my control arms but that was at 180K so what's wrong with that? And the sagging headliner, that's an easy fix.

My '91 engine is rock solid and with Konis, rear heavy load springs and 17x7.5 Ronal RTs the car handles like a dream. I do believe in upgrading parts as things break which makes it much better than stock. Certain years with proper maintenance are very reliable and the bum rap that these cars are unreliable is unjustfied. I have never had to fix or have my mech fix the same think twice and I've had my car for 66K miles.
