A couple of things:
Try using a gasket sealant such as made by loctite (see the mini-debate that RS and I had down below), or some silicone. Whichever you use, apply the stuff in sparing amounts. I think it's particularly necessary on the entire lower edge as gravity will eventually have it's way with any oil that got splashed up on the valve cover while the engine was running. BTW- I used the gasket that they supply at the dealership.
Make sure you torque the bolts properly. 11 ft./lbs. is what the Bentley manual suggests. I torqued the bolts using an inside to outside pattern. (i.e. start from the middle and work your way out).
I just did this on Wednesday, and no problems so far (knock on wood)...
