Generally when I kill a battery I put it on a charger overnite to bring it back up. The alternator is not a good way to charge a dead battery.
After the battery has been brought up I let it sit for a few hours and then load test it. If it fails I charge it again overnight and let it sit for 12 hours and then load test it again. Sometimes I have to disconnect the negative ground (just in case something else is killing the battery before I start going through the wiring system...) while charging and during the waiting period. If the battery fails the load test..back to the purchase point. It's not all that unusual to have a battery that fails in a month. Make sure it's not the battery!
That being said...it's difficult to understand aftermarket foglights that work different from the stock ones. The stock ones are operated by a hot wire...the stock relay switches hot rather than a weird ground switch. BTW, even my volvos switch hot on their fogs! Now, the relay operation may be a ground switch, but I emphasize that doesn't matter...you still hook up the fogs to the stock wiring harness the same way as the stock fogs!! If you substituted a diffo wiring harness and relay system you're on your own.
The stock fogs have two connectors, from the lights themselves to the foglamp harness which then goes to the main fuse box. One connector for left and one for the right. The connector is about 10-18" back from the foglamp up the harness. These connectors are in a non-weatherproof assembly...the connectors themselves are mildly weatherproof in that the bullet/socket connectors are individually sheathed. The female sheaths and male bullets are held in the connector assembly. If your stock foglights don't work well, one of the places to check is these connectors...they get corroded on OG900 cars and need to be cleaned off and coated with dielectric grease and reassembled. Last time I did mine I wrapped/sealed the entire connector with vinyl electrical tape.
