I had an Eclipse CD/MP3 deck installed in my 85 Ford Ranger because I wanted to listen to CDs while I hauled stuff around. I didn't put one in my BMW 528e because of all the rewiring that has to be done in those cars. I like the unit, although I agree I'd like to see a basic black w/green display unit of some sort. Is it difficult to get an aftermarket unit installed in a 900T?
Aside from wanting to listen to CD/MP3's, I have a set of gauges that I want to install and they go where the equalizer is. Having a single unit would make up for pulling the equalizer.
Are there any chain stores/installers to stay away from, or are they all about the same? Here in the Sacramento area there are quite a few independent shops, but also the typical Best Buy, etc.
