for me while I was stranded at Waffle House in SC. I'm home now, after getting stuck again in W Virginia for another, costlier tow off the highway and overnight stay.

The following were the problems with the fuel system that I addressed in those days:
- flakey fuel pump relay
- positive terminal to the fuel pump had been cold-soldered on to pump mount. (broke off during re-fitting)
- fuel leak at the banjo fitting at the pump (caused by not having a good quality 17mm in the tool kit.)
- black 29 pole connector 152C was loose, causing a voltage drop in the signal wire from the (second) ignition pulse amplifier to the LH ECU.

Pros:
- an extended visit to the southland
- a spare ECU and three spare relays ($80)
- design improvement: new "service panel" for the ECU (read: hole in the carpet)
- a greater knowledge of the LH 2.2 system
- we were able to floor US Customs by re-packing the whole car in five minutes, and still fitting the cargo cover on.

I was really wishing that I had wireless internet (and a car furnace), but it worked out fine using a middle man to TSN.
