Cylinder Not Firing, Please Help!

I posted below (putter...putter... was the topic) and since then I have confirmed that my number 2 cylinder is definantly not firing. I just replaced the plugs and wires. As I said in my previous post, it happened immediatly after driving through a large puddle, and having a large amount splach up into the engine area. So What could the water get into, or have down that would immediatly stop cylinder number 2? The only other thing I have checked was the distributer cap, but it was dry, and seemed fine, but what else do I need to check? Please help with Any ideas... Thanks
