When you consider these cars, with almost every body piece other than the doors, hatch/trunk lid, and bonnet are WELDED onto the body of the car...it makes these things extremely expensive to repair.
Beyond mechanicals and cosmetics, I think that accidents and rust are and will continue to be the #1 cause of death to the C900s...
It is easy to get a rebuilt tranny, get the headlinner covered, or get the a/c system converted...but when the BOOK RATE to swap a front fender is 12-14hrs...(figure $60min for body shop time) that will easily total a 900...
