I am continuing to test and switch components on my 16 valve 87 Turbo which I believe has the same problem as your car. So far I have replaced hooter valve, AIC idle control, Hall ignition control module, APC controller. I have done a flow test on fuel pump(met Bentley Spec). I have not done pressure test. I have jumpered the contacts on the pressure sensor under the dash according to 'no start' trouble shooting guide on Townsend website. None of these changes have helped. The car will start if it sits a day or two but when you accelerate it dies and will not restart. Yesterday when it would not restart the tach was not boucing when I tried to restart. Does this indicate a no spark issue? If so it is intermittent because sometimes it will start just fine. I have been all over previous posts, FAQ, Bentleys, and other web sources but not come up with answer yet. One thing I noticed from previous posts is that many times there is no final posting of answers to problems that people may have solved or did they just give up? Did you test out the ignition amplifier which is on the 86 and 87 Turbos?
