That was my last resort. I'm using a Fram "easy-drain" plug. I was trying to seal the JB weld around it, but it didn't work. I ended up covering the whole thing, but it still leaks.
At this point, if I have not other options, I may end up doing that.
But yes, the Fram easy drain plug is a part of the scenario. If that can be sealed in place, that would be perfect.
