My original front springs were sagged by a full 1/2", or exactly where Bentley said the SPG springs were supposed to be. (And I always wondered why the front bottomed out so easily!) I don't know how long they've been like that, but I got the front end aligned (about 5-1/2 yrs ago) shortly after I bought the car. The used SPG springs were unsagged & kept the front end unchanged in height.
On the rear, the SPGs dropped things by 5/8". I ordered a single set of 1/2" riser pads from SAS & now I'm only 1/8" under what I was before. I was thinking of ordering a second set of riser pads to keep the rear end up when I drag home all those household remodeling materials every summer. Would being 3/8" taller in the back require realignment?
