Ask yourself three questions- 1) do you want lower, 2) better handeling, or 3) both? The answer to all is AF, but I would say the SPG springs are more stiff (the overall ride really depends on your shocks too). I have the SD springs on a CV; much lower and looks great; get 3/4" poly spacers and don't try to reuse the old. I think I have dig. before and after pics around- want them?
If you do springs, might as well replace the "other" likely stuff that is worn at the same time- save yourself some labor. I'd say 2.5-3 hours is fair for a shop to ask; remember, they have the tools and experience.
