How can I get better visibility in a convertible?

Hi all:
I have been getting concerned about the poor visibility I have in my 94 ce convertible.
The rear window is small and the canvas top makes looking over my right shoulder almost pointless since it is so large in the area next to the back seats. This leaves the pass. side mirror, but it isnt enough.
I am going to try a stick-on mirror for my passenger-side mirror, but am still looking for a good one, the local auto parts store mirrors looked like they were made out of aluminized cardboard. Probably try Sears next.
Has anyone ever heard of some kind of 'mirror mod' to get better right lane visibility, like attaching another mirror so that it can show areas back to the right better? I was thinking about some sort of 'clamp and arm with a mirror on it' thing that would go on the existing right hand mirror supports. I have actually seen a bike mirror that has a rubber lily pad on one end of an arm with a mirror on the other end. the pad is then glued to a bike helmet. This has appeal cause i wouldnt have to drill holes in my car.
Thanks,
BB
