Are you sure its the pump? If so, the repair is quite simple - but tricky if you don't have the 'proper' tools. You will need to remove the panel in the trunk - torx screws (25/27?) i think - don't exactly remember their size - get a full set from Sears, always handy to keep in the glove box - use plyers for the connectors and pull on the round part of each connector, not the arm that attaches to the fuel line. You then need to GENTLY remove the two connectors to the pump. What ever you do, DONT BREAK THEM - if you do, you won't be taking the car far without a tow truck. Once removed, you then need a hammer and chisel for the fuel pump ring - or get the special saab tool. I opted for the chisel and hammer as the new pump comes with a new o-ring and fuel pump ring. Once the ring is off, pull the old housing out, swap in the new one, and as Bentley says, reinstall in the opposite. Don't break those damn connectors though ..you'll be #&#%&#$!
Good luck, David
