I've used the liquid graphite (graphite powder in a solvent of somesort) but it eventually gummed up and the lock got stiff.
So I squirted aerokroil in it..magically redisolved the graphite and loosened up the lock. #$&% key came out COATED with graphite...so I just kept wiping it off with a piece of paper towel until it came out mostly clean.
But I need to watch that key when I take it out...wipe it before putting it in the pants pocket or else get some graphite/dirt in the pocket.
