I managed to find a really nice junked '90 9kT with a nearly new watercooled turbo and that huge intercooler that the 9kT uses. That's now in the garage and realistically
All I'd need to do is find the proper oil filter housing and fab up some oil and coolant lines to cool and lubricate the turbo. I think I have most other needed things.
That said, the cheap-ass scantech heater valve continues to vaporize coolant and I've got a new set of
shocks (front and rear) boxed in the trunk ready to install (along with tie-rod ends too I think).
Having a pregnant wife in graduate school really screws with your perception of what the real priorities are. Right now (about half way through) I am eager to find a job and finish this degree. All that to say the earliest I'll be
considering LPT for my 900 is next fall. realistically though it'll never happen. Want a nice turbo?
The other day though we went to the doctor for the audio prenatal thing. two heartbeats from one person is a really stange and wonderful thing. Too many good things in life to count I suppose...
