I purchased a alum flywheel for both my SPG's a few years back & I feel they make the car feel like it's 10 years newer. Revs much free-er & the engine just feels a LOT smoother with this upgrade. Off boost the engine seemed to rev much, much quicker & on boost seemed to be about the same as before however their usually is a loos of torque with this mods which can actually help trans life!
When you do the work on your car I would at least get the OEM wheel lightend, this will give similar results & like other people state it will allow you to spend the $$$ saved elsewhere!
Clutch wise, if you have a lot of miles on yours I would swap it now. I have a centerforce clutch on my SPG & I have used stock clutches in the past with pretty good results as well. It really depends on the HP you plan on running
